Six years ago, there were no unicorn startups in Africa, but today there are around seven unicorn startups on the continent.

At the just ended Young Entrepreneurs Forum, there was a panel discussion on ” Creating Startup Unicorns: The Role of National Agencies”. The panel was made up of Mr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, CEO NEIP, Hon. Kwadwo Baah Agyemang, CEO, of GDCL, Mr. Yofi Grant, of GIPC, and a representative from VICF. The conversation was centered on how Ghana could also develop a unicorn.
